DIY Wedding Favors

Thinking about how to bring down the cost of your wedding? Thinking about what you'll give to everyone who shows up on the bid day? Thinking about making your wedding unique and memorable? Get your bridesmaids, (and maybe even the groomsmen?) to sit down and help you with this great, unique DIY wedding favor that follows tradition, but is personalized to showcase your special day!

The traditional wedding candy is Jordan Almonds, but anything sweet will do.  Use whatever candies or treats are the bride and groom's favorites.  If you are working on a tight budget, you may opt to forgo a large cake and just use these favors as dessert.  Its your day, don't make it more stressful than it has to be!
You can get fun, personalized goodies from Sweet Wrappings, and check out their blog for more fun ideas!  But after the candy is eaten, don't let your wedding attendees forget the day!  Give them something to remember, and package sweets in a nice tea-light candle holder, which you can get cheap at a dollar store or dollar store supply company.  You can decorate the candle holder with whatever you like, including your names and wedding date, gems and glitter, or other craft items.  Make it unique, and something to celebrate the day with.
Voila!  Now you have the traditional sweet gift, and a unique favor that is a memento for each wedding attendee to look at every time they burn a candle.  Don't forget to save one for yourself so you remember too!
Contact Sweet Wrappings to see what they can do for your wedding or other event!
